Fashion versus style

It was recently fashion week. I didn't have a chance to catch much of it, but I did see United Bamboo.

I was totally unimpressed. Lets say this, if your clothes make 17 year old Eastern Eurpoeans who live on sperm and nicotine look frumpy, why would anyone want them. More importantly, their collection for men was beyond laughable. I mean, seriously, do I want to get my ass kicked walking down the street (even in Chelsea)?

Which, brings me to another rant. I was out the other night at a couple of different places, and I saw a lot of sweater-over-button-up-shirt. Now, we won't talk about how 2-years-ago that look is, but I don't need to. Instead, I have to wonder why so many guys are wearing it right now? It's a basic look, but seriously, can't someone show some imagination out there? Last I looked men wern't too closely related to lemmings!
